This is one of my favorite message board terms. It means “Banned”. Can you figure out why? Let’s save myself some time and just give you an excerpt from the Urban Dictionary about its history:

B7, message board slang for banned, or when someones denied access. Derived from Banned > Band > B& > B7.

As you can see by that description there is plenty that b7 can be used for. It is most commonly used with younger posters on gaming boards. If someone posts something that might be a violation of the TOS the first user will likely just post the term “b7″ to signify that this user has posted something that may get them moderated. It is also used when someone posts something that the other posters in the community think is stupid, or just plain annoying. Let’s use some examples:

Poster 1: Here is a picture of a 14 year old girl: (pic)
Poster 2: b7

Poster 1: Look at my Myspace page please.
Poster 2: lol myspace b7

Poster 1: Rate this band out of 10: WHAM!
Poster 2: b7/10

Poster 1: I just took the biggest poop in the world
Poster 2: b7

As you can see this term is very valuable on boards. I wish it was used quite a bit more on other boards instead of just ones with the adolescents.
