Netflix and Business Expenses

I’ve been looking at that banner for a couple weeks now and decided to re-activate my account finally. I used to have the 3 at a time with unlimited rentals per month plan, but got a bit busy and decided to end it since you can whenever you want. Then today I decided I would start it back up and get the 2 at a time plan because it was a bit cheaper per month. They send them out so fast anyways that I don’t really need to have 3 movies at a time. 2 at a time is plenty for me. That means I will probably get about 10-12 movies a month since I usually watch movies instead of TV. So basically I get rentals delivered to my door for $1 each. Some of you fanatics probably get 30 a month for all I know.

Then I was thinking about blogging. I have Entertainment blogs. My Celeb Blog and my Entertainment blog require me to watch movies do they not? Netflix is a tax write off, dude. I HAVE to watch movies and write about them on my blogs. I make money on my blogs, therefore Netflix is a business expense. Pretty good deal I think and a pretty smart idea for me to have something to write about on most days. People love movies and I like to watch them. Everyone wins.

Damn, I never thought about that. I recently started a blog just for tech/entertainment/reviews. I also use Netflix. Sweet. Gives me something else to blog about as well, not that I really need an excuse.

Yup…I thought of it while doing my entertainment blogs as well. Just makes sense to take advantage of it for reviews and use it as a right off on top of it.

i deduct anything and everything, especially working on the internet. All the computers I buy are for working purposes and all the LCDs I buy are for presentation purposes to show clients what their websites will look like. Easy Explanation :)
