I just found this to be a pretty funny blog. My cousin e-mailed it to me earlier so I figured I would share it. Stuff White People Like is a humorous look into stereotypes of what white people like. Expensive sandwiches, motion sensor lights, standing still at concerts, recycling, knowing what’s best for poor people, and many other classic posts. Definitely a funny read.

OK…I saw this video the other day and posted it on a few boards, but got a response that it wasn’t particualrly funny. I found it quite hilarious myself, but it is pretty disturbing. Well after a day or so I began to see people posting that it had appeared on The Soup so apparently it has reached far beyond something I just stumbled a crossed on Youtube. This person called Adriana Barrientos has an assortment of videos floating around on Youtube that are some of the oddest things you will ever see. Not sure if she/he just graduated from cerebral palsy therapy and decided to start making videos or hasn’t had any yet, but they are something you should probably take a look at regardless. I am posting two of them here and you can find the rest if you so desire.

GameFOX is a Firefox extension that makes browsing the GameFAQs Message Boards easier. It offers several useful features, all of which are easily configurable. The most up to date download for GameFOX is here (That IS the site, but it is down sometimes when a new version comes out due to overload). It is supposed to auto-update once you have it, but there have been times it hasn’t for me right away. If you are posting on the boards and notice some functionality not working you may want to go see if a new update is made at that link. Typically it will update right away, but every once in a while it won’t.

Main Features

QuickPost

This adds a form to message and topic lists that lets you quickly reply to a topic, or create a new one without having to go to the Create New Topic/Post New Message page.

Quoting

This feature allows you to quickly quote a message.

GameFAQs Themes

User Highlighting

The User Highlighting feature does exactly that; it highlights the post headers and topics of users you list, and can hide the posts of others.

QuickWhois

QuickWhois allows you to quickly check a user’s profile without leaving the message list.

Other features:

* Manage your Message Board and Site settings from the GameFOX Options menu. This includes setting up your sig so that it will post when you use the “QuickPost” feature. So you can always have your website link up for marketing purposes if you want to make sure your ellipticals site gets some run.

* Compatibility with gfaqs9 and gfaqs.

* Right-click on the GameFaqs board pages to reveal many GameFox features in the right-click menu. A real time saver that will show you topics you have tagged, or tracked.

* GameFOX Sidebar allows you to quickly navigate the site. You can even use this when you aren’t at the GameFaqs site. Very handy. Like a bookmarks panel that goes with you.

* Topic Tagging allows you to keep track of topics easily.

If you post on the GameFAQs boards this is a MUST HAVE extension for Firefox. The other important extension that you will want to have is the Text to Image extension which changes text image links to actual pics so you don’t have to copy/paste it into the address bar, but just have to double-click on it to see the full size image. Sort of like an attachment that needs no download. Also, one that is a can’t live with out is what is called Linkification. With this add on all the text links you see on the boards become clickable links. Very good add on for such things as clicking on youtube video links in thread.

UPDATED: Just to add to this. GameFox Themes are sort of difficult to come by searching on the internet. There are quite a few GameFox Themes out there, but other than the Blood Money board on GFaqs (link in next line) it is usually quite difficult to find them because they aren’t very search engine friendly sites they appear on in most cases. Go to this board and read about the extension as well as ask questions about what you need help with, or just post a comment her and I will be glad to tell you what you need to do if I can. It is the unofficial discussion board for GameFox and the place you are going to get your questions answered quickest.

This ad was shown in magazines recently. Grand Theft Auto is obvciously one of, if not the most controversial video game series in history, and GTA: San Andreas is the most controversial game in history because of something called Hot Coffee. Hot Coffee is a code put into the game that allows the gamer to see the main character CJ having sex with other pixilated characters in a sort of mini-game. This code was locked, but with modifications the user could still access this mini-game.

Now I see this ad that is trying to get people to join a suit against Rockstar saying that the marketing of the game with the wrong rating was against the law. Sex is not bad people. Just like the word Curcumin may be funny, it still has great medicinal properties. Sex is love. Love is good. If you have ever played this game you know that you can kill people in it with wreckless abandon. Yet…why does everyone get bent out of shape about that? Of course not. Killing isn’t bad I guess. VIDEO GAME characters having sex? OH NOES! MY EYES! DEVIL HELL! The game had to be pulled from the shelves for this and re-released with out this code. It’s disgraceful really that this is an issue. It just shows how pathetic people trying to get attention in the government are. Jack Thompson is the guy everyone hates by the way if you do not know this. Seriously read about this fuckstain if you have a little time. IF you think the Steroid committee is bad use of our government they have nothing on this chode. Hillary Clinton was a big part of this as well. They are MATURE RATED VIDEO GAMES. You know the ones you can only get when you are 17+ in age? Why was it banned? Apparently because children were able to play the gamen when their parents are too stupid to monitor their playing habits, or they just go out and buy their minor children games they aren’t allowed to play legally.

Oh and the hot coffee effect…lol

A little unusual that i would post something like this, but it is just so disturbing that it is something many people would post to discuss and want to see I think. Last night during an NHL hockey game, Richard Zednik of the Buffalo Sabres had a skate slice a crossed his throat and cut him. It is very disturbing, but the guy made it through and is in stable condition. Makes you appreciate life a little bit more when you see close calls like this. Emos feel free to cry because this is way further than any of you would ever go.

I’ve also included a video of a past injury like this that is even more disturbing. Clint Malarchuk gets throat slit by skate a while back. This is MUCH worse than the other one. He also played for Buffalo. This is not a recommended way for weight loss.
